BURNS NIGHT DINNER

The second Tuesday - not the first Tuesday!!!

No wimping out!
We started with a Piper, Pipe Major Alex Burt, giving us our first and only GASS Bagpiping lesson.
We then sat down for the full BURNS BOLLOCKS dinner.
And yes, I know this is not the right date! Just roll with it!
Haggis, neeps, the works!
The was a selection of Whiskeys to savour.
There were of course readings and songs by GASS members
During dinner our piper played the good old Scottish tunes, some English pub tunes
and for the older gentlemen, some WW2 ditties.
As you can see Pipe Major Burt did his best to see if we could play the bagpipes but it was a case of which bit of us would burst first.
At least we looked the part!
Great evening everyone, really funny and so, so Scottish.
Shame about the dickhead below, not a real Scot!!!
