MAY MEETING - A SING SONG

Andy and Steve (or at least one of the duo) had obviously found a bird one of them though to be a song-bird.

We all appeared at Oliver's restaurant in Rochester ready for a big surprise. It was advertised as a big surprise - and it was. A big surprise I mean. We all assumed this lovely lady who was singing lovely songs to us as we dined was going to proceed to something new and more interesting and maybe more exotic than warbling old songs by The Carpenters.

By 'more interesting' you will have to read between the lines.

She didn't.

So Andy sang to us some more to assuage our disappointment. He failed.

But as we always say - it's only a Tuesday, what else would you do on a Tuesday if you weren't out having a slap up meal with your mates, and all you can drink, AND songs from The Carpenters, and all for £40. Well done Andy and Steve!
