The Old Website
Back in the day we had good old www.gass.org.uk but it got old...
THE OLD GASS WEBSITE
From September 2006 to September 2017
The original website at www.gass.org.uk was about to fade into history and disappear forever
The problem was it was on a really old programme called Microsoft FrontPage
which was no longer supported. That meant it had to be updated to this new site
where you can find JANUARY 2018 to the present day.
Rather than lose our records, and rather than write a whole new book,
I choose to patiently download the whole bloody site, word for word,
picture for picture, from the old Microsoft ‘FrontPage’.
This herculean effort saved our amazing and in many ways surreal history
yet again for posterity in a Word Document which goes on for pages and pages and pages,
although to be fair it does cover some 11 years.
The formatting is crap because the website was never designed to be downloaded this way
but it works, just. You have to use a PDF viewer to read it but you'll manage.
Even some of the weblinks work to videos etc. Amazing!!
The original GASS book (which you can also view by clicking here)
covered the period from 1982-2014 but in shortened form picking out the highlights,
it didn’t include everything this record has– which is abso-bloody-lutely everything!!!!
This tome is the full record of our adventures during the years 2006- 2017, nothing excluded.
